When I was at the tourist information office, as I left I noticed a poster for an exhibition of works by Czech Art Nouveau artist Alfons Mucha, which I decided that I should go to, which I did when the opportunity arose later in the day - and I am glad that I did.
Alfons Maria Mucha 1860 – 1939), often known in English and French as Alphonse Mucha, is known for his distinctive style; he produced many paintings, illustrations, advertisements, postcards, and designs.
The exhibition was housed in a palace dating to 1770; entry was 4 euros, and for an extra 1 euro, I was allowed to take photos; unfortunately, with glass over the works, and reflections from lights, it was a bit hard with many, but I did manage to get these ones - enjoy (and don't forget to select an image for a larger view, and the ability to scroll through the gallery):
